About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our supportive residential care home. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, leading the staff team, promoting a positive culture, and ensuring outstanding outcomes for service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the care home
- Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations and standards
- Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team
- Manage rotas, recruitment, and staff performance
- Promote person-centred care and safeguarding practices
- Maintain effective communication with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Monitor budgets and ensure financial sustainability
- Prepare for inspections and audits
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a care setting
- Strong knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards and regulatory frameworks
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards)
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
- Right to work in the UK
